TEDMED focuses on the intersection of medicine and healthcare. The conference is held annually at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. The four day event includes talks in the famous Eisenhower Theater and partner brand experiences in the social and simulcast hub called The Hive. The Hive allows partner brands to present their initiatives and showcase their latest technologies. In 2013, Target highlights their online Health & Care program. Kaiser Permanente presents its healthy initiatives. Booz Allen Hamilton collects insights from attendees about the talks. Johnson&Johnson showcases new technology from its labs. Nuture displays the latest in medical furniture. Panasonic focuses on remote patient monitoring and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation openly discusses the 20 Great Challenges in Health and Medicine today.
