For the launch of its latest innovation in technology, Nike formed the Flyknit Collective. A curated group of creatives worldwide applied the core principals of performance, lightness, formfitting and sustainability to the design of physical structures and spaces that inspired the communities around them. Nike Stadiums in New York, London, Milan, Shanghai, Tokyo and Rio housed the studio workshops and the galleries of these activations. In New York an architectural designer and educator, Jenny Sabin created the myThread pavilion: an installation that used data collected from participants’ Fuelbands to generate the forms and build of the knitted structure.
